I know the song and I've listen to it so often, but... With the video it just hit me again. It's really beautiful.

Aaaaand I'm back from J-Popcon. I decided to go Sunday as well as Saturday, seeing how I didn't spend much time at the convention center itself, because of the cosplay contest.

I'll post all the pictures later, but I want to mention a couple of things before I forget.

First of all, there weren't any other Avatar cosplayers. There were a lot of Avatar fans, and I got recognized a lot more than I had expected. There were also a couple of guys who had thought about cosplaying Avatar; the first I met just hadn't had any idea where to start, and the other
had considered making some Fire Nation armour, but hadn't had enough time or something. The was also a girl who'll be cosplaying as Fire Nation disguise Sokka along with a bunch of her friends at a con next year.

Secondly, I didn't get shopped nearly as much as I expected. Turns out, I don't really know that many animes. But, yeah.

3) There were two cosplayers as two cousins from Katamari! And I didn't get a picture. One was green and the other was blue, but I didn't pay enough attention during the game to know who that means they are.

Oh, and it was so much fun!

I'm going to a convention tomorrow. It's the first one I've ever been to, so I'm really excited. I'm cosplaying as Katara as well. The costume has its faults, but since it's also the first time I'm cosplaying, I'm letting it slide because, OMG squeee. I'm just really excited, you know? I doubt I'll see other Avatar cosplayers since it's a con about Japanese things, but I'm keeping an eye out.

It's been a really busy week (I heard about the con, like, last weekend) with making the cosplay, finding the right blue in the right sort of fabric (That was hard. And we didn't even get it in the end. (Well, not perfect perfect, but still. Good enough perfect.)) and making cake (that one had nothing to do with the con OR cosplay), so I haven't been much around here. Hope everyone's feeling good and stuff. (Good luck all you NaNO WriMoers.)

So, I’ve decided to do one of those things. Yeah, one of those things where you guys decide what I write. You get two requests each and I’ll only do Avatar prompts. If something should fit perfectly in my Change of Fate AU, I reserve the right to place it there. If you want it to be placed there, that’s perfectly fine as well, of course. Oh, and if anyone should care enough about some of my original fiction, that should be doable.

Also, be aware that I won't write anything with a high rating.

Could someone tell me how wasps keep getting into my room? Actually, could someone just make it stop?

It's not like I'm terrified of them or anything, but I prefer not being around them and it. was. in. my. hair!

I don't know if something like it exists in English, but in Danish stupid people have a saying "If you don't care, then you're never happy." It... sorta makes sense, since the Danish word for not caring includes the Danish word for happy, but I still freaking hate it.

Also, that "You laugh because I'm different, I laugh because you're all the same" thing. If that's true you're not nearly as detached from the popular opinion as you might think.

My summer vacation started yesterday. That means that my write-something-every-day-project also started. And as of now, it's going strong. So yay.

Should anyone happen to be on deviantART? I'm 2-5-9 of 2-5-9.deviantart.com over there.

Also, would anyone like to beta-read my stories? I prefer to upload something if someone have read it through. If there's anything that isn't stated clearly enough, it can be hard to tell when you know everything that's happening. Also, I'm working on chapter 8 of Change of Fate, so you'd get to read a lot of stuff earlier than other people.

It seems that, when faced with the idea, a lot of people like the idea of Maing. Some already liked it but didn't bother to mention, others had thought of it. My point is that maybe someone should make a community? Pretty sure, I'd suck at it, though. Far too much of a lurker.

Of other stuff, that probably won't ever affect the internet, I went shopping yesterday. Among other things I got Trials and Tribulations. Sure, I'm still working on the Max Galactica turnabout of Justice For All, but if I finish it while I'm at the summer cottage or in Ireland, I know I'd like to continue.

 And apparently, getting your newly graduated big brother a cd from one of those old childhood memory shows earns you the title of Coolest Little Sister Ever.

Taken By A Demon is a original story of mine. I've had a bit of trouble starting it, because, well, I started it. Unfortunately, when I look at it, the introduction scene is stupid and it's written badly. And badly in a way that's too subtle for me too go in and edit unless I write all of it again.

HOWEVER I got an idea recently. Jump straight to the point. Instead of showing the things leading up to it and foreshadowing, I'll just start where the foreshadowing gets explained. I'll probably show the things leading up to it at some point, but maybe not. And probably not the way I had planned.
